Dr. Leslie Lewis
As a London native Dr. Leslie Lewis attended Central Secondary School. She entered the University of Western Ontario and obtained an Honours Science Degree in Microbiology and Immunology in 1985 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1990. Dr. Lewis is presently entering her 20th year in the private practice of General Dentistry.
Dr. Lewis opened her first office at Wonderland and Oxford Streets and remained there until 2004 when she moved her office closer to her home in Byron. Immediately upon her graduation from UWO in 1990, Dr. Lewis returned to the Dental School in the capacity of Clinical Instructor for a number of years in both the departments of Removable Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry.
She has also served on the admissions committee interviewing potential candidates for dental school. Presently, she is associated with the Dental Outreach Program, sponsored by the University of Western Ontario Dental School providing free dental care to underprivileged patients in the London Community and teaches 4th year dental students valuable experiences in the clinical setting. Dr. Lewis has also participated in providing dental exams for the athletes of The Special Olympics program.
Dr. Lewis resides in London with her family and is heavily involved in both her children’s sporting events and school. Along with her husband she has coached and sponsored Oakridge Baseball and Soccer teams for a number of years. She has actively taught skiing for 5 years to children with special needs in the Track Three program at Boler Mountain.
